Partnering for Better Health Outcomes
Working alongside government ministries, implementing partners, and communities to strengthen health systems through technology and strategic partnerships.
Reliable health data helps programme teams identify gaps early and act before small issues become system-wide problems.
Digital health systems only create value when people, governance, support, and daily workflows are designed together.
HISP Uganda works across implementation, training, analytics, research, and innovation so systems remain useful after rollout.
Who We Are
A not-for-profit organization strengthening information systems
and data use.
HISP Uganda works across health, education, environment, and
governance sectors to design, implement, and support sustainable
digital information systems. As part of the global HISP network,
we bring together informaticians, technologists, and public health
professionals to help partners turn data into action.

Conference and Academy
DHIS2 Annual Conference, Climate and Health Academy
The DHIS2 Annual Conference brings together DHIS2 implementers, developers, government representatives, donors, technical partners, and other DHIS2 experts and stakeholders from around the world to share experiences, learn about the latest developments and innovations, and make connections that can lead to new partnerships and collaborations.
The DHIS2 Climate & Health Academy will provide technical training on innovative DHIS2 tools for climate data integration and predictive modeling, and share learnings from real-world use cases to help catalyze the use of DHIS2 systems and data to strengthen climate-resilient health systems.
These two events will run in parallel, allowing conference participants the opportunity to engage in informational sessions and discussions on climate and health, while also giving Academy participants opportunities for more focused learning and hands-on workshops.

01
Implementation That Lasts
We build practical digital health systems that are usable in the field, governable at national level, and sustainable after deployment.
02
Capacity Built Into Delivery
Training, mentoring, and operational support are designed into the work so local teams own the tools and the outcomes.
03
Partnerships With Accountability
Our work aligns government priorities, implementing partners, and technical teams around measurable public-sector results.
Operational FocusData that moves from collection to action
Why Organizations Work With Us
Clear strategy, grounded execution, and stronger institutional
ownership.
Our role is not just to introduce tools. We help institutions
adopt better ways of collecting, governing, interpreting, and
acting on information across programmes and teams.
That means balancing innovation with operational reality:
technical architecture, training, support, governance, and
reporting all have to work together.
DHIS2 implementation, adaptation, and rollout
Capacity building for ministries, partners, and field teams
Research, innovation, and systems improvement
Operational support for data use, governance, and scale
Practical digital tools built around real health system workflows.
Innovation at HISP Uganda is focused on solving operational
problems: data movement, field reporting, analytics, quality
checks, and tools that help teams make decisions with confidence.
